Shavonne Nobles was born in South AmBoy, New Jersey, and lived there until age four, when her parents moved their family to St. Marys, Georgia. Although she has not lived there for many years, she loved living in St. Marys and has wonderful memories of the place she still calls home.
Shavonne is a stage four breast cancer survivor, and while on the journey to recovery she also became a widow. Her book "Faith, Favor, and Five Steps" describes that journey and how the Lord brought her through it. After losing her husband and surviving cancer, she was given the gift of another to stand by her side, and they married. She views her life as a beautiful tapestry and is grateful that the things meant to harm her were turned around for her good, while being woven into the fabric of her being.
Through her own life experiences, the Lord has brought her to the place of understanding and embracing the scripture "He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us." 1 Corinthians 1:4
Shavonne has always been intrigued by the Word of God, and passionate in teaching others what she has learned. Her ministry began as a teacher in her church at a young age and she continues to teach with the same passion in various settings today. Her love for God's Word and teaching it to others has branched out into multiple areas of ministry. She has planted and pastored churches, taught at conferences, ministered in the area of spiritual warfare, and has done pastoral counseling for many years. She is always ready to answer the call to go wherever the Holy Spirit opens doors and leads her; ministering to those in all walks of life, from pastors to gang members, as they strive to overcome the challenges of life so that they may walk in victory.
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11
One thing she has learned along her journey is that God has a plan and purpose for each life that He created, and it is good. She has witnessed first hand that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and His desire is to bring us through to VICTORY!
Shavonne is an ordained minister with TMCI - The Missionary Church International. She lives in Jeffersonville, Georgia with her husband, Wayne Nobles, and together they have seven children, twenty grandchildren and one great grandchild.
